when is the soonest the HCG level is detected?
i am a fool and i tested 5dpo i really wasnt expecting to see anything but when is the soonest you would test?

some have said they got a BFP at 9dpo... FRER tests say 6 days before AF...

It depends on when implantation occurs. Usually it is detectable 2 days after implantation. Implantation occurs on average between 7 and 10 dpo. So at 5dpo more than likely implantation hasn't even occured yet so way to early to test.

you really should wait until at least 12DPO for a reliable result.
5DPO is a 10000% waste of money. implantation hasnt even occurred yet so even if you were to get pregnant this cycle, there is almost a 0% chance that you would get a positive on a pee test at 5DPO.
hold out. you can do it!!!!!!!!!

My GP had told me a blood test can detect it within 4 days of implantation. I know that's not your question, but I can't imagine a HPT could detect anything earlier than that.

That's assuming you have a 14-day LP, or 8dpo. If yours is shorter or longer, it'll affect your results. And any test s going to be more accurate the longer you wait (sorry!!)

i have a 29 day cycle so i was pretty regular
i tested at 10dpo and got a bfn
i than tested again at 14dpo and got a bfp so i dont know if i would have gotten one sooner
