as you can see, my parents spelled "megan" differently

and its really pronounced "may-gan", not "meg-gan", but I usually just let it slide.
I hate it when my family misspells it, when other people do it im not to mad.

It doesn't bother me that much - but it does when it's family. A lot of people spell my name Amy, but it's really Aimee...even when I spell if for them they spell it wrong!

My last name sounds like a first name so people always think that is my first name. It sounds like Miriam but not really!

I doesn't bother me. My mom spelled it different Dianne (with 2 ns - usually with 1). I always tell them that my mom spelled it wrong.

If it's someone that doesn't know me, no, if it's someone that knows me like co-workers yes, it's not that hard.
I get Sondra the most, Shandra is not THAT hard.

It doesn't bother me. I ALWAY have people mispronouncing my name which leads to them mispelling it.....at my last Job, my co-workers came up with a nick name for me because my name was always butchered.....
They came up with J-9 because of the way my name is spelled....Janine

I get mad when people in my company spell my name wrong, only because it's been 16 years and by now they should know "Capital A with and E"
