When should or shouldn't you bring your dh to the doctor with you?
Did you bring your significant other to your ultrascreen?

I did. I bring my DH to all my real sonograms (8 week and 12 week and 20 week when I go).

I think as long as DH is willing to come along, why shouldn't he join u? 
My DH made a point to be at every sono and about 80% of my scheduled doctor appts. It's nice to have them so involved!

I brought him to sonos....
He came with me to a couple of regular visits (just in the beginning when I was still worrying).
My last sono tho he let my sister go with me - and he stayed at the pizzeria..... It was nice for my sister and I to share it together....

He came to all sonograms and a few routine visits.
My new ob has the same hours as his office, so he can't make it, he will try for the last sono though.

He tries to come to everything. I feel like it's 'our' baby...not just mine...so he needs to hear what the Dr has to say. If I can't get an appt after work hours though, he doesn't come.

DH comes with me to every appointment. Even for the regular visits, you get to hear the heartbeat. He really wants to be involved in everything.

Mine too. Plus, I need him to b/c I go to my appointments from work in Manhattan so he meets me at the train.

My DH always trys to come to all appointments unless his work does not permit him on the time of my docters appointments.. I like him to be involved and he enjoys being there too...

With our son, DH came to the sono appointments only. With this PG, he has come to one sono but had to miss the other two I've had due to work. We hope that he can make the 20 week sono.

DH comes to every sono appt I have. I wouldn't like going alone, its exciting to see his face when he looks at the baby on the screen.

Dh has been to every one of my appointments so far. He had to step out of the room once to take a business call and missed hearing the heartbeat, and he was devestated....I love how involved he is, it means a lot, makes me feel like im not so alone in all this

Mine comes to all appointments. One time (15 weeks) my OB was delivering a baby and I had to wait an hour to be seen. DH was in the waiting room but had to go back to work because it took so long before I was called in and that is the only appt he missed so far.

The only sono at the Dr. he missed was my 2nd appt. I was 13 weeks and had just had my Ultrascreen 5 days before, so he went to work instead!

Same here, but at the end I had growth sonos every few weeks and he didn't make it to all of those.

DH came to all but one with my first (he went out of town on business and I wound up going into labor ) Anyway, the last one, he didn't go to one, but the hospital visits.. And with this one, he has been to all hospital visits and one High Risk appointment, but that's it.

He came to the very first appointment, the first appointment with my OB and all sonogram appointments.
He doesn't come to the regular monthly ones..

DH was coming to every appointment and then we realized it wasn't necessary. So now he only comes to sonos, next one will e at 20 weeks on Vday.
