When to call Edgepark regarding breast pump?
When should I call? Do I need to wait until after delivery or will late in pregnancy be ok? Do I need a prescription?

I called my insurance company at 35 weeks and then they had me call Edgepark. I didn't need a script or a letter from my Doctor. I only had to pay $99 for the Medela Freestyle!

They're a medical supply company that works directly with the insurance companies and facilitate the process.

I called as early as 5 wks and they sent me a pump in less than 3 days! They just needed an approval from my ob.

Once you call and say you are preggo, they take the order and then once they clear it with insurance, they send it to you. Im 6 mos and called last week, and last they told me it was pending through the insurance. But I called my ins company prior and they said it was fully covered.

Def get the freestyle- so much more portable! I have new insurance with the pregnancy, so I'm hoping I can get one this time. I used borrowed PIS's last time.
