When to send child back to school after flu?

My 6-year-old DD tested positive for flu on Sat. It was a pretty mild case. She had the shot, but only 3 weeks before she came down with it, so maybe not enough time. She started thursday with sore throat and cough. I kept her home Friday. She ran fever on Sat (102.2 was highest), but that was it. Yesterday and today it just seems like mild cold symptoms. She is blowing her nose occasionally, but it's not really runny. If I didn't have her tested, I probably would've just thought it was a cold. She is eating, drinking and playing. Do you think it's ok to go back tomorrow?

If she's fever free for 24 hours she is ok to go back...

My cousin's doctor today told her to keep her kid out all week (tested positive today, symptoms started yesterday). As a teacher, most kids do not stay out a whole week. Usually when they are fever free, they are back.

24 hours fever free with no meds. I made sure mine were 48 hrs fever free with no meds for the flu but 24 hrs fever free should be fine.
