When was your 1st sonogram? What did you see?
Especially those that were with an RE.
I will be 5w6d when we go... what should I expect to see?

I was with an RE and he didn't do a sono until 6w2d. I saw everything, including a faint flicker of a heartbeat- as if it had just started.
A single day can make a huge difference at that stage, so don't get worried if you don't see much.

I saw a yolk and gestational sac and that was it at around 5w.

I just asked the same question about 2 days ago if you want to look for it I got some great responses. I'm going Friday and will be 1 day shy of 6 weeks so I was trying to prepare myself. Good Luck!!

what did RE see or what did I see?
had sono at 4 wks, 5 wks, 6wks, 7wks, and 8 wks. We saw the heartbeat at 6wks3days

I went at 6w4d(according to my LMP) and saw a sac...she said I was only measuring at 4w0d (she said I ovulated later) I go back at the end of the month for another sono

I measured 7 weeks 1 day and saw the heartbeat. I wasn't supposed to go for a syno but had one b/c of cramping and slight spotting

5 weeks 4 days. yolk sac and fetal pole
6 weeks 4 days yolk sac, baby, heartbeat

1st sono was at 5.5 weeks & I saw a yolk sac & heartbeat.

I saw a RE and we saw the heartbeat at 6W 3D. As soon as the sono tech walked in the room she said "lets see what we see, it may be too early to see a heartbeat" But we saw it and it was great!

At 5 weeks 5 days I saw an empty sac, I was trying not to panic, but it was a LONG wait till my next sono @ 7w 5d, we saw our lil monkey's HB. It is AMAZING to me all the growing that took place in just 2 weeks.
