Do you bring your LO with you when you go? We have an appointment next week at a school just to meet with the director and check the place out but I was just wondering if I'm supposed to bring DD. I wasn't planning to. Just curious what others did.

I worked in a daycare and some people brought their kids and some didn't. How old? Sometimes the kid would come and play other times just stay at the parents side. It really depends on what you want to do,

We did. I liked watching how the teachers interacted with DS.

We bought our DS too, I think it's good for him to see the environment where he'll be at most of his day, see his reaction to it and see how the teachers interact with him.

Thanks. I don't really know what they do when you go for these appointments so I wasn't sure if I was supposed to bring her or not.

Thanks. We are looking to enroll her in a 3 year old program for the fall (she's a little over 2 now though).

I took AJ with me. It was interesting to see HER reaction to a school. Some I loved she was not comfortable in. Others I was meh about, she was excited. We ended up in a happy medium

I usually did. I thought it was interesting to see DS jump in like he was already a student. It helped me see just how ready he really was. And at one school he even sat with the class and made a project to take home. the school he goes to now he sat with them and had snack!

Yes, I brought DD to every one. It actuallly MADE me cross off one school off the list. I didn't like the way the director interacted with my child.
