When you pump at work...
how many oz's do you pump in a day?
i pump twice a day and only get about 4-6 ounces. Ella ends up having to have about 3 formula bottles at my moms every day

It's tough when you aren't producing as much as you'd like, but don't get down, you're doing a great job! Try to increase your supply by eating oatmeal and drinking LOTS of water. They also make this Mother's Mil tea that's supposed to increase your supply. I never used it, so I can't promise it works.

I know everyone really varies on this so it is hard to compare. When I pumped in the morning (5am) I would be able to get the most around 6-8oz total. At 12-1pm I would typically get 5-6oz total, and then later in the afternoon it dropped to like 2-3oz.
I found oatmeal, water and the mothers milk tea really helped, but some women just wont get a lot when pumping.

I don't get a lot when pumping either- about the same amount. We supplement with formula too. Don't be so hard on yourself - as long as she gets some breastmilk, she gets all the benefits

I pump 2x at work. I get about 5 oz the first time and 4 oz. the second time. I pump once after my DD's night feeding and get another 4 oz. DD only takes about 12 oz while I am at work so it's just the right amount.
I don't think there is anything wrong with supplementing with formula. At least you are supplying some breast milk. I realize that if my milk supply decreases I might have to do some formula.
Just have peace of mind knowing that you are doing the best that you can

I started drinking fennel tea which helped tremendously.
I don't remember the exact ounces.
