Burglers and convicts. I stayed up one night too late and watched America's Most Wanted. I was so afraid that one of America's Most Wanted would come to my house.

OK, I have a few weird ones:
-Cane-The scary old man from one of the Poltergeist movies
-Zelda (I think that was her name)- from pet cemetary, she was the scary sister
The freaky guy from Dirty Harry, he took over a school bus in the movie and I was petrified that he'd do that to my bus, I still yell at my mom for letting me watch that movie

Oh! I was also afraid of the voice in the Haunted House at Adventureland that said "I told you not to come"
Since my Dad was mean, he would always say that too me in the scary voice after I had gone through the ride... and I would immediatly burst into tears for like the next 3 or 4 years (I went through it when I was 4).

Ethiopians.
They were always on the news, food-deprived, so skinny, and it was just a horrible thing to see when you are little.
At night time, when I went to bed, lights out, I always slept in the middle of the bed b/c I always thought their skinny, long hands would come out and grab me from either end.
This was my fear when I was little, crazy, I know, but at that age, you cant help what scares you.

I was really scared of fires when i was little. Everytime I heard a siren I would make my mom sit with me in bed until I couldn't hear it anymore.

i also thought aliens would abduct me in my sleep if my body was not 100% covered by the sheets- i will have a blanket over me all the time- even now in the heat.
also anything that was featured on that show unsolved mysteries

I was scared of everything. I actually remember seeing "monsters" in my parents bedroom closet in the house I first lived in as a child. I must have been only 3 or 4...but I can still envision the monsters!
