i also thought aliens would abduct me in my sleep if my body was not 100% covered by the sheets- i will have a blanket over me all the time- even now in the heat.
I always have to be covered with the sheets over my head too -no matter how hot it is. Actually you reminded me of when that started - anyone ever see the Facts of Life episode where everyone goes pyscho? I think the guy from the Twilight Zone is on it and keeps saying "Tuti, Tuti" and Blaire is insane and comes after people with a knife? Well, thats when I slept with the covers over my head

omg me too!! And to this day, I still sleep that way!!! (not cause im scared though, just cause i think i got so used to it!)
I know this feeling, too, except the younger I was, the the less skin could show, so often, only the tip of my nose and nostrils were visible! Then it was the -ear monster in 3rd grade (you know, fear, wear, tear, hear, etc) and from then on, my ears could not be exposed!!!

I was afraid of the hand. I remember watching that movie and being scared that it was going to get me. I was also scared that alligators were going to crawl out of the toilet and get me. I was afraid of the dark after hearing the "Tales from the Darkside" theme.

Snakes coming out of the toilet when I was sitting on there.
I don't want to go see that "Snakes on a Plane" movie; I'm scared there is going to be a scene with snakes coming out of the toilet.
