Where did your newborns sleep?
Did you use a bassinet? Co-sleeper? Or Right in their cribs?
Im trying to decide what to do.
I was thinking of getting a cosleeper till about 3-4 months ,then crib...but nto sure.

I am not sure if I am doing the bassinet or straight into crib thing yet but I think I am leaning more towards going into the cribs. Guess I will decide when I get them all home.

They slept in a bassinet next to our bed. They both fit in one for a while - we had the pack n play with the bassinet on top -
then when they got a little bigger - they each had their own bassinet - one on my side of bed, one on dh's.
They were in our room for a good 6 months.
eta: it made it easier since i was breast feeding in the beginning.

We have the twin graco pack and play which has twin bassients on top - it's in our room and they sleep there at night.
I put them together in one crib during the day in their nursery because I can monitor them and am awake... They love co-sleeping and it comforts them. I'm just not comfortable doing it at night "just in case".

I tried the co-sleeper for 2 nights, but didn't like it. They've slept in their cribs ever since.

They slept in bassinets for the first 4 months or so. However, at my moms, we had the double pnp and they slept in the bassinet part of it. Then I transitioned them to the cribs!

My twins have been sleeping in one crib since the first day. I have a bassinet but it's too small for them. Our bedroom is not an option because we're still cosleeping wuth my 3 year old

Oh my 2 yr old loves our bed too so I forsee this as happening here as well.
Im just confused what to do.
I actually saw a crib divider on Amazon.com, that might help, use only one crib for a longer period of time yet not have them rolling into each other when they are bigger.

They slept in the same bassinet for the first week. Then they slept in our room in the bouncers until they were about 6 weeks old. Then they slept in the same crib for awhile until DS would have no part of it, he slept in the swing until 5.5 months .
Then we had to do CIO with him, so having both of them in the same crib didn't work at all. DS slept in the crib in the nursery and DD slept in the PNP in our room for about a month. Tonight, for the first time, at a little over 6 months, they are each sleeping in their own crib in the nursery.

I'm going to look for that crib divider. My son is already moving around a lot at night. I hoping to keep them together a bt longer.

Honestly, I was going to get one, but by the time you would need one they are too big to be in the same crib.
