where do you put the wet plunger
Our toilet was being weird this morning so I plunged it. After I was done I put the plunger in the tub to dry (nothing gross came out of the toilet when I plunged, the plunging did nothing). When my husband saw it in the tub he went on and on about how gross it is and how I am supposed to put it on the floor to dry. In my thinking, he would take it out of the tub before he turned on the shower, and the water of the shower while it was heating would wash away any plunger dripping.
What do you do with your plunger?

where do you put the wet plunger
I would have put it in the tub too. It's easier to clean that way, you can just scrub down the tub with some bleach and was it down the drain. The floor would be more of a pain to clean. Plus I have a 2 year old and knowing him he would think it was a toy left out for him lol.

where do you put the wet plunger
I hang it over the edge of the toilet so that it can drip into the toilet until it's dry. Or if someone needs to use the toilet, I'll throw down a paper towel on the floor and put it on top.

We have plastic bags in the bathroom that we use for the bathroom trash. I put the plunger in one of those after using it.

I have a plastic bag next to the toilette. I plunge then put on the bag to dry. Once dry "enough" I clean in the tub. This way nothing "drips" in the bathroom.

I put it in the sink, spray some bathroom cleaner on it and run the hot water. I leave it in the sink or outside in the air until dry.

I run hot water in the tub and wash it with bathroom cleaner. Then back in it's holder. It has a holder that encases it.

Haha I never know what to do and I get all jerked up. I like the idea of hanging it to drip back into the toilet. I'm gonna try and do that next time.

Haha me too!! We are actually going to be doing a bunch of work in the bathroom so I will have to buy new bathroom "accessories" anyway, so maybe I will get a holder thing.

I used our plunger for the first time today. I put it in the bath tub and rinsed it off. I then let it soak in the garbage can with some bleach. I then cleaned the tub.

i have a separate plastic trash can just for holding it.
i bring the plunger in the trash can into the bathroom, use it, put plunger back in trash can.
then the whole thing goes into a separate hall closet... where cleaning supplies go (very small closet)

Ours has a holder too so after we use it we put it back in there. I also clean the holder when I clean the bathroom.

if i dont have time to clean it right away i put it on the floor against the wall next to the toilet. nobody steps over there so its "safe"

I would have put it on a plastic bag on the floor - I am sorry but I would be grossed out if it was in the tub...I doubt you wash in between uses so even if nothing came out on this try it might have before plus it was in the toilet bowl...major gross but I hate toilets and their issues!! I am with your DH on this one -sorry!!

this.. but I've never put that much thought into it. I take it out back and rinse it down and if the water was 'murky' and dunk it in bleach but I never thought that hard about it.
