where do you put the wet plunger
After I use it to unclog the toilet, I flush again and rinse it off in there, than place it on paper towels on the floor next to the toilet to dry. Once it is dried it goes in the storage closet and I wipe the floor with bleach.

wow, I keep mine in the garage. I've probably had to use it 3x in 8 years.
If you come to my house & clog the toilet, you will have to do the walk of shame to the garage.

Yes- If I have to use the plunger, I stick it in the tub and leave it for DH to deal with.
And for what it's worth- i've never had to do a poopy plunge. Only when my daughter uses 12 pounds of toilet paper for one little tinkle.

I will never forget when I was staying w/ DH for the weekend after he first moved upstate (when we were still just dating) and I clogged the toilet! He didn't even own a plunger! I had to run out to HD at like 9:30 at night to get a plunger... I had AF too, so it was really bad.... I told him he wasn't allowed in the bathroom until after I fixed it.

just for the record our toilet has been acting up for a while and i tried the plunger because it wasn't filling back up with water - NOT because I had done something really nasty in there!!

I actually throw my dog's poop (bag and all) in our toilet to avoid throwing it in a neighbor's curbside trash. It causes a lot of issues so I have 3 or 4 plungers that I bought to stay next to the toilet.

Well not for anything, but he probably caught that MRSA from your dirty plunger that you failed to properly disinfect and store. So I guess you owed him that!
