Where do you put your infant (6-9 mo old) when you're getting ready for work?
Every morning I give DD her bottle, then put her in the swing, while she watches Einstein. She's content in the swing, with a couple toys/teethers for 45 min.
She is outgrowing the swing by the day. I hate to part with it, but the days are dwindling (she's 7 mos).
Where do you moms put your LO, while you're getting ready in the morning? I tried putting her in the Exersaucer, but she only likes that for a few mins that early in the morning.

Our family room is babyproofed so I put him on the floor with some toys while I get ready. He's pretty good at amusing himself!

Re: Where do you put your infant (6-9 mo old) when you're getting ready for work?
DS loves his exersaucer, so he is usually in there in the morning. Sometimes he hangs out on the floor playing, but my dog is usually running around trying to make sure he is going to get fed so I'm usually worried about the baby getting trampled.

I usually get up at 6 and get ready first then they get up between 645 and 7 but if they get up early the front part of our office is gated off and completely baby proof and padded (DD is a lunatic) and it is right across from the bathroom so I can watch them while I blow dry my hair

Re: Where do you put your infant (6-9 mo old) when you're getting ready for work?
I have the pack n play and tried that. She can crawl but cant quite sit up on her own, so she get's nuts in there after a few mins. She wants to sit up and play, but cant, lol. I also have the infant/toddler rocker. I dont feel she's safe in that, since she is arching to get out of that too, same like in the swing. I guess I will try the exersaucer again. Thanks for the suggestions.

Mine won't stay anywhere for 45 minutes - I get up early to get my shower, dressed, makeup done. I just leave dryign my hair for later. I do use the exersaucer when I dry my hair but typically her brothers around to entertain her. The pack n play or crib with a few toys will keep her contained for a little bit too.
