where does your DH shop for clothes???
i've decided that i hate most of DH's wardrobe 
so we're going to go shopping to get new shirts, jeans, khakis, etc. where do you suggest we go that has "fashionable" clothes that aren't too $$$?
he's average height and weight.

Since my DH is 6'1" and has the same length legs as me who is 5'2" - he is ALL torso and so he needs a longer length in shirts, we buy all of his polos and tee's from LL Bean because they have a Tall version.
His jeans and Khaki's he usually buys at Old Navy.
I have to say that LL Bean's stuff lasts!!

My DH doesn't shop for clothes, with the exception of suits (mainly bought at Men's Warehouse), I do.
Now that his work environment is casual, its a lot of Land's End, (they do the inseam for free) with Macy's and Bloomingdales thrown in. I've also done really well for him at Century 21.

I hate shopping. I go to Old Navy because it's small and very close. If not Pennys or Macys if I need something nicer. I have to dress business casual so I needed to do some shopping a few months ago. What a fiasco.

I end up getting awesome deals for DH on high end items, and squat for myself!!!
I do most of his clothes shopping, before we dated, he was a mess stuck in the 80's with the tapered jeans!!!! 
The strores range from Nordstrom to Kohls, he is very simple when it comes to fashion, that's why I have to dress him......

most of his clothes come from Macys because he likes DKNY and Nautica and junk like that. he gets his "play" clothes at Steve and Barrys or Old Navy.

You know the type of dresser John is, he has good taste (at least i think so!!)...and he pretty much shops at macy's & jcrew.
With guys its worth it to invest in a few "staple" items i think like a great pair of khakis and jeans and a few really nice button downs.
We hit macys up during their big sales to get dress shirts, ties etc...
Good luck! (And i think mike always looks nice, leave the poor guy alone!!)

my DH is huge and loves more stylist clothes so it is never easy
he gets alot at express for men, century 21 and smaller stores in FL when we go down there

For work, it's mostly Eddie Bauer and Land's End (ps... Eddie Bauer at the Tanger Outlet is great and not very expensive at all!)
His "play" clothes are usually Gap or Old Navy or J.Crew... he's tall and skinny.

Most of DH's clothes are from Brooks Brothers and Lord Taylor. Most of his more casual stuff is from the Gap.

I shop for all of DH's clothes so I really go to wherever it's convenient!
DH is the type of person that constantly stains his clothes. No idea how. Always pen stains, other work related stains, and always food stains (he's the cook in our family!). So, I never buy anything expensive! I usually get his clothes at TJ Maxx, Marshall's, Sears. When DH lived out east we shopped at the Geoffrey Beane outlet frequently. For "play" stuff I usually shop at Old Navy.
