where to find clothes/props for newborn pics?
I have a friend who is a photographer. She wants to expand into newborn photography, and offered to do my newborn pics for my DD when she arrives. I have to look for props such as headbands, wings, etc. but I don't want to spend a fortune. Any idea on where I can look? I figure I should start looking now and picking up things here and there. TIA!

If she wants to get into the field she should probably invest in her own props instead of you buying them. Unless your buying something specific that you want... etsy is a good of a place to start as any

Etsy but also check around with friends that have young kids. See if they have things you could borrow.

She should invest in her own stuff. If you want specific things, I would suggest etsy or even asking on here if people are willing to sell their props. I know my boys never wore the hats I got them after their newborn shoots and if I wasn't planning on more kids, I would sell them. Right now SIL is pregnant and she's getting all of the cute newborn hats accumulated over the 4 boys my sister & I have!
