With my son I was laying in bed and I felt a little pop and I stood up and realized my water broke. With my daughter the doctor broke my water in the hospital.

With my first, it just started leaking...never a full break. Leaked from 10 am to when I delievered at 7:30 pm.
With my 2nd, my water broke while I was sitting on my couch. Needless to say...we bought new couches a few weeks later.

I was in the hospital being induced... lying in bed like at 4am...stretched my legs, felt a pop, and then gush. I buzzed the nurse and said "I think my water just broke"...my poor DH was sleeping on the floor and flew up and said "what?! How do you know?"
And I said "BECAUSE my WATER JUST BROKE!"
When they say "you'll KNOW if your water broke" they aren't kidding.

With Sarah it broke on it's own while I was around 6cm when I was contracting at the hospital. With Andy my doctor broke it around 9cm.

Mine broke at home, around 12pm. I was laying down in bed and when I got up I realized it.
It was a slow break though, it just kept coming out for hours! And then my dr broke the rest when I got to the hospital.

in the bathroom, I was done peeing, and stood up and thought I was still peeing  but it was clear, so I knew it wasnt the case!

In the hospital when I was being induced...I was 1cm and it broke on a contraction..and you definitely can't mistake it for anything else!

It was exactly 5:10 am and just got back in bed after going to pee. I heard a pop and it gushed out. I ran back into the bathroom, leaving a littel trail behind, and set back on the toilet!
Interesting how many girls' water broke immedeately after getting back to bed after going to the bathroom in the middle of the night!
