It was about 8pm or so - I had just got home from work and finished dinner. Dh was washing the dinner dishes. I was sitting on my couch writing shower thank you's and watching tv. 3 weeks early and totally not expecting it. I had left work a little early and so glad I did that day or else may have been on the LIRR!! hehe

home in bed  yuck! but I guess it could've been worse if I'd been out somewhere. Let's face it, there really isn't a good place for that to happen.

Mine never broke
We found out in the hospital - that I had a slow leak the entire week before going into the hospital - cause when my doctor broke my water - nothing came out

never broke on it's own, doc broke it for me at 8 cm.

They did it in the hospital around 2-3 cm to "get things moving." It didn't work--I stayed at 3 cm, complications ensued and I had c/s.
Same here but I stayed at 7cm and had a c/s.

with pregnancy #1, the doctor broke my water and it never broke with pregnancy #2.
