Which do you do first..bottle or cereal?

If you give them around the same time, do you give your DC the cereal first or the bottle?

I have been dong bottle then the cereal. At this age, the bottle is more important than the solids.

cereal then the bottle....she wakes up to a bottle but then after her morning nap she gets breakfast (cereal w a fruit etc) then an hr later her bottle....then nap and when she gets up she gets lunch and an hr later her bottle....and the same for dinner than an hr later bottle which is her last bottle before she goes to sleep

I give DD a bottle when she wakes at 7 am, then cereal at 9 am.

Bottle first before cereal because milk is their primary source of nutrition. Cereal is more for practice and learning how to eat off a spoon.

Honestly, I go by Abby's mood. If it is not yet time for a bottle, and Abby is not fussy/hungry, I sit her down and give her the cereal/fruit and then the bottle. If she is crying out of hunger, she wont take a spoon of anything no matter how hard I try. She gets her food two times a day regardless.
