the hospital should have pacifiers to use.

In fact, Jacob like the pacifier in the hospital so much that he is still using the same ones. They are called soothies. We found them on ebay to buy...

no need to bring with you...

We use the avent silicone. I would buy a nuk and an avent. Don't buy too many of one b/c she will most likely have a preference. My son did not like the nuk at all. He spit it right out.

Also, my hospital did not provide pacifiers. I started giving it to him when we came home.

we use the soothies that the hospital provided. i bought more at BRU. they are not supposed to cause nipple confusion.

We bought the orthopedic nuk- they are supposed to be better and she likes them.

We have some Nuks and an Avent one.
Think I got a few others at my Shower, but can't remember the brand.

Hayley likes the Nuk ones. Being she was in NICU, she never got one in the hospital.

Connor didn't take one till about 3 months. Now at 8 months I kick myself that I ever gave it to him. If you can avoid it I HIGHLY recommend it.

Sarah never took one. I tried every one on the market b/c I know it's an easier habit to break than the thumb, which she is now addicted to.

We used nuk and he didn't like them so we use Advent and Nams now. I use both because there has been a rush on advent ones in Jack's age group since he is a hurricane baby in our area..lol

We used a silicone orthopedic pacifier by NUK. They were highly recommended to me. I've heard bad things about the Latex ones. We did not bring it to the hospital. We didn't give it to him until he was 1 month old. We tried not to, but caved because he wouldn't stop crying. I was also BF exclusively so we didn't want to have to deal with nipple confusion in the beginning. I really liked them and so did Caiden.

We use Mam..... we didn't use them in the hospital, we didn't actually start using them until she was about a week old, because she needed to nurse allllll the time for the sucking.... my son never used one though.

My hospital would only let Jake use the soothie - which they supply in the hopsital. They would not let me give him the NUK ones there (said it was a choking hazard and was not allowed in the hospital). We still use the soothie ones, Jake loves them.

I bought a couple of Avent ones b/c that is the breastpump I'm using and a couple of Nuks.

I know they'll have ones at the hospital, I'm gonna bring mine just in case.

Talia doesnt have a preference - I use avent - mam- she doesn't care - she likes 'em all!

I used the hospital one while I was there..but once we got home Ryan didnt care for it anymore...

Now the only binky he will use is the MAM... but only a specific MAM binky (lol) its 0-6m and its called "real love" its got like animals and little sayings on them like "imagine" "living life in peace"...

Its not the usual MAM pkg...
