DH has this stupid belief that we should pay bills as late as possible - to "screw the man" or some garbage LOL

Me! I handle all the bills and such. DH jut goes to work and makes the $$$$............and I spend it!!

If I didn't the rent wouldn't get mailed till after it was due, Lipa would cut us off.

I did them until we had ds, its all dh now. I have to many other things to remember and keep track of.

I do the bills, but he knows how much everything is and when it comes out of the checking account. We sit down monthly for a financial chat.

Same here!! If he had his way the mortgage would be paid the 15th every single month.

this is us too, he really has no clue how much is in the account, how much we owe, its terrible but he doesnt want to know either

Me...when DH and I were dating I got him all set up with paying things online and totally got his credit straightened out...I'm not sure he's really touched bills from that point on.

me. the ONE time he had the responsibility of paying the cable bill, it was late. that ended that. both of our checks get direct deposited and i handle all the bills.

So far (only married 3 months)
I pay our cell phone bills and my car insurance.
He pays everything else.
I put the rest of my money towards our credit card bills every month.

Both of us. I take care of my own bills (CCs, car, student loans and car insurance). DH does the rest since he pays them.

DH is only responsible for paying the mortgage on time. I budget/pay for everything else.
