My IL's house looks neater because there is MUCH less clutter and their house is bigger. My mom's house is smaller and she has more stuff, but I know that my mom cleans EVERY DAY while my IL's clean on weekends.

MIL is clean my moms is just as clean NEATFREAKS I guess I'm just like them I LOVE TO CLEAN!

my inlaws is cleaner... thats because MIL hasn't worked in 27 years since DH was born, and really does nothing else but clean EVERY day
on the other hand, my mom and dad own their own business and are very busy-its a garden center, so its hard to keep up with the drt they track in the house.... but she tries

my mil stays at home and cleans for alot of the day
my mom and dad both work long hours and they also have a dog. its very neat but mils is like spotless

BUT she is also living alone.
my mom on the other hand lives with 3 kids, a husband & 2 dogs... and a cat... so its harder for her
