Why am I not allowed to be stressed and overwhelmed?
If missing friends and family wasn't bad enough yesterday, today DH made me feel like a whiney baby because I was complaining about having to work tomorrow.
I have a lot on my plate this semester with work, school and being pregnant and I know that my job will never be as stressful as DH's but I think I am entitled to be stressed these days. I am so annoyed with how my stress was diminished and he told me that he was tired of hearing me complain about having to work when I chose to work Saturday. I didn't really have a choice, though. If I don't do it, there are no other hours that they have to offer me since I am a part time trainee and I am essentially there to fill in the gaps when full timers are not around.
Why am I not allowed to be stressed? Maybe I have always done too much and now he can't accept that I need a break because it is not like me.
Sorry for such a downer on a Friday night. I am just so angry

Thanks for the support and validation
DH is actually reading something for school that is all about stress. We'll see if he sees me differently and has a better understanding of how everyone has a right to be stressed every once in a while after he finishes his chapter.
I appreciate that he thinks I am Superwoman but even she needed a break sometimes...

I give you credit! Im working a FT and PT job (2-3x a week) and Im wiped. I have no idea how you are doing school too! I forget when you are due (Im in Jan) and Im so tired its crazy!

Sorry you are feeling so stressed. I can completely relate. Sometimes it is hard for others to see where you are comming from because tey only know their lives. Hang in there though!
