I just graduated nursing school in May and I am confident you will be able to do it. I went to school with multiple people who had children and they were able to finish. Some days you might be tired and feel like you will never cross the finish line but just keep reminding yourself everyone feels like that at some point.
People are negative I think sometimes because they are not happy with themselves or their own lives and she is probably a littke envious that you are doing something to change yours.
Congrats to you!!!! So awesome! I love the positive stories and encouraging words..I will come back to this thread when I'm in the depths of it all!

Why are some people like this? (negative towards career choice)
It sounds to me like she's trying to justify (to herself mainly) her decision to not go into nursing. I would think maybe in some part of her mind she still questions her decision not to do it.
