Why do some people think I care?
So because I am one of 2 token ladies at my job I get the job of collecting money for the Boss. And every year it never fails, "That's too much money, why can't we just give him cash, what is everyone else doing?" I don't care if you do, don't or how much you contribute or the reasons why, just give or don't give.!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Argh
Sorry, just needed to vent!

And uh yeah, holidays at jobs suuck. Always.
But WHY can I ask are you getting the BOSS a gift???? This is bass ackwards, shouldn't he be shelling out for his team??

That's me too but it's for our admin. I deal with it though bc it really irritates me that there are some who have plenty but would give her nothing if the envelope didnt pass their desk!

Can you point out that it's a little weird to have a woman do the job every year when so many people are capable and suggest that the work be spread around some more?

He "tries" to give us all a half day on Christmas Eve and takes out for a drink afterwards and then we always do a breakfast the week before, so it's all give and take.
And to seaside, just like at home, I could let someone else do it, but if you want it done right..........
