Both sets of parents will wait for the call. My mom might come I'm sure and wait.

They will def be at the hospital!!! My DH will just give them updates!

my situation was a littel different. but my parents and my il's were at the hospital for about 5 hours. my bil came later as did my siblings.

everyone will be home (we live in other states). for the first and probably with this one DH was on the phone with my mom, MIL constantly with updates from 4am to 11:30am.

My mom was in the room with Dh and I the whole time. My grandmother had come with us to the hospital so she stayed all day (i got there at 815am and didn't deliver until 559pm). My inlaws came around 10am and stayed all day too. My Dad, BIL and Dh's aunt came around 4pm.

I got to the hospital around 4pm on Wed and everyone came....my Mom, sister, IL's, SIL and BIL. I was being induced almost a month early.....so I knew the baby wasn't going to come til the next day but everyone was so excited. Everyone went home to sleep except my Mom and DH. My Mom waited in the lobby all night!! The next day everyone came back between about 10am-1pm. DS wasn't born til 10:59pm.

Everyone was in the waiting room - my poor family waited all day because they were supposed to induce in the morning, it didnt take, so we induced another 10 hours, and then I needed the C section that night!

Being that I'm here in Vegas and Kristina's due date is on 2/18, and mom has winter break from teaching starting 2/18, my family will most likely be out here starting 2/16!

So, to answer your question, they will prob be at the hospital with us as soon as they get the call..... That is, if DD doesn't decide to come early!

My mom, dad, and dh were in the labor/delivery room. We kicked my dad out for any exams and when it came time to push.

They were at the hospital last time and I am sure they will be there again this time. I wouldn't have it any other way!

I guess it depends- if it's a weekday, my parents will not be able to sit around all day at the hospital- they run a day care business. If it's a weekend, I am sure they will be there for hours waiting.

I'm not pregnant, but when I had DS nobody waited in the waiting room. They waited for him to be born and then went up to the hospital. This is what I wanted.
