Wilton Cake decorating...
I'm sure this is going to get moved and I did post it on the "crafts" section but I feel like lately that's mostly scrapbooking/knitting related so I wanted to post it here too.... Has anyone taken any of the wilton cake classes? i'm debating about signing up for one and wanted to know what you thought of it. TIA!

Re: Wilton Cake decorating...
My coworker took all three and her cakes are amazing. She now makes cakes for all the showers and parties for our department. She was really into this before but she really enjoyed them

Re: Wilton Cake decorating...
I took the first phase of classes which was 4 nights. I really liked it, but if you decide to do it, I wouldn't recommend doing it on a weekday evening like I did, because you have to bring a cake to class plus a number of different frostings also (different consistancies and colors too). You can make all your cakes at one time and freeze them and also make your frostings ahead of time if you want. I didn't though because I'm just lazy You're also going to have to buy a bunch of stuff, but I didn't mind because I know I'll get use out of all of it.
I learned a lot and thought it was definitely worth the money.
