i was thinking of renting a room at a knights of columbus or something and having a clown and maybe a magician. i would like to do a circus theme. maybe a popcorn machine and hot dog machine..

DD's birthday is on Jan 9th. I'm already started to get my ideas together. I think most likely we'll have her party at O'Neill's in Maspeth. That's where I had my baby shower. Its mainly close friends and family with their kids. Since DD's birthday is on a Saturday and DH works, that night we'll have her grandparents & uncle over and order pizza and I'll make a cake. We'll have her party the next day. I'm also thinking of hiring a character & clown.
Love O'Neill's. Have been to quite a few parties there.
DS's 1st was in February.
We had a party in our basement. Luckily we have a large basement and it accomodated over 50 people with no problems.
It was fun planning the party and clean up wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
