Winthrop and private rooms
I know when I delivered DS in 2007, you could not request a private room prior to delivery (like when you registered).
Does anyone know if this is still the case?

when my sister came it was first come first serve... if you wanted one and it was available then you got it.

thats what i thought. it really is so great.
i NEED one! since im having a c/s i will stay there for the full 5 days so i look at it as a mini vaca

i delivered there 4 weeks ago. i asked right after I got situated in L&D (had a planned csection).
I would ask AS SOON as you walk in the door. They will most likely put you on a list. I had a semi-private room night #1 and then went to a private room for the last 2 nights

the stay is 4 days for a C at winthrop! you can even leave after 3 if you are feeling up to it!

i was able to stay for 5 days (4 nights) when i had DS! i will definitely not be choosing to leave after 3 - i will take all the help i can get, especially since i am bringing 2 home
they put me on a list and i had to share a room the first night, then was switched to a private room for the rest of the nights - i really, really hope i get one again this time

i stayed the 4 also - i could have gone home ON mother's day but i decided to take the 4th day and it was WELL worth it! good luck! twins rock (i am one  )
