Winthrop C-Section Mom's Quick ?
Did you get from the hospital or your doctor any kind of post-surgery binder or abdominal wrap? With my 1st c-section in nyc I never thought of one but have heard how much they help and heard some hospitals actually give you one.
Has anyone used one? Did they help? Also, if anyoen was high-risk at Wnithrop, how did it go? I'm with their high-risk group. Thanks

I got one from Winthrop. Ask the nurse and she'll get it approved. I never really used it, I guess I was just lazy. Good luck!

Me neither lol. I wasn't considered high risk until the last few weeks of my pregnancy. I saw the high risk dr.'s because my ob was trying to have me deliver via c section before 39 week. Overall I'd say it couldn't have went smoother. 99% of the dr.'s, nurses, etc. were excellent.

i am pretty sure you have to ask the doc or nurse to write you an order for one.
i didn't have one. someone had recommended a girdle the first few days and that helped.
i saw the high risk docs there for my 2nd pregnancy and was followed by the maternal/fetal medicine docs and everyone was great.
