Winthrop or NS Manhasset for delivery?

I am debating between two different OBs. One delivers at Winthrop and the other delivers at Manhasset. Does anyone know the differences between the two hospitals? I definitely need a private room and comfortable amenities as well as the best care!

Any feedback is appreciated.

i dont have personal experience yet, but im happy to be delivering at Winthrop. I'm getting a private room as well and it's $220 per night. I think manhasset is a lot more.

I have two best friends one delievered at winthrop one at ns...both girls had wonderful experiences at each hospital...north shores rooms i have to admit were gorgeous and she didnt have a private room the rooms at winthrop not so nice again she didnt have a private room but the quality of care was off the charts for both hospitals either choice you make i think you will be pleased

I delievered at NS my first in 2007 and will deliver this baby there as well. My experience was wonderful and I have no complaints at all. I did also get a private room. I don't remember how much it was but, it was definitely more than tht $250 someone posted for Wintrhop. I want to say it was closer to $500 but, I could totally be remembering wrong. For me it was worth every penny and I will get one again this time regardless of the cost. It was only two nights.

I'm delivering at NSUH- Manhasset, and I just had the hospital tour the other weekend. Private rooms range from $500-$1700/ night depending on whether you get the private corner suite or just a reg private room
