Re: Women that FF their babies
Enfamil brand only - its the closet to breast milk (proper protein ratios), has the extra vitamin D and correct DHA levels. (Similac is the only brand without that).
I used gent lease with my first - when supplementing.
Nutramigen with the second after bf

Thanks for responding. I have all these samples and I am curious as to what people use without allergies or digestive issues changing their minds. Does one brand offer more than the other??? Does similac offer more than enfamil or are they all about the same??
Gentlease is the a unique formula - has partially broken down proteins and reduced lactose. My ped was pissed when she found out I switched to Similac Sensative b/c its apparently lactose free and the formula is not recommended b/c babies need a lactose formula unless an allergy. She also told me that it didn't contain the right amount of DHA but had sugar as its second ingredient. I immediately went with her recommendation for gent lease - and it worked amazing for gas.
When my DD had a milk allergy we used the powder nutramigen b/c it has a probiotic in it that heals their intestines - no other formula has this either.
Most of my friends use the newborn or gentlease

I used Good Start, though I would probably go organic if I did it over again(Earth's Best maybe)

Re: Women that FF their babies
This is informative
I used Similac with my first, switched to BJs brand, then same for my second. Now DD is on Enfamil Newborn and will stay on that for 3 weeks. Then I'll decided to switch to store brand. I can't decide between Sam's (best value), BJ's (again, next best value), or Target (because they have a larger line of formulas if DD has any issues).
