Shorty - I don't know if you already know this - but I think you need to change your plans - all of Monroe County - all the Keys - ESP Key West is completely evacuated!!!!

Yep as of now only residents who live there are allowed. They started kicking out non residents at 9AM this morning. They did not say when they will be allowed back. It might be by Wed. So I would find another place to crash until then. As for Disney it might not be impacting there that much their county isn't under any advisories but that could change.

Ya im down here in palm beach county about 40-45 minutes from Miki. My SIL's kids all have school oh how they wish they lived about 10 minutes further south right now

It's a cruise, so I'm hoping they'll just re-route and unfortunately we'll miss Key West. I really really really just needed a relaxing week....this better not ruin anything!!!

After I posted last night, I watched the news and didn't realize they (Key West) was already being evacuated.

I was hoping the college I work at would be closed today, but it looks like no schools in palm beach county closed.
It's pouring and so windy right now too! Maybe we'll be closed tomorrow.

It's crazy i'm in the house alone and the dogs are curled up at my feet. I almost feel like curling up with them under the computer desk I saw on the news that all the browards schools are closed but broward county college is open.Strange
My SIL and ther kdis all had school today. Palm Beach county so here I sit in the house in Boynton alone

We just got an "update" that as of now we're open for normal operations.  It's horrible out there and our parking lot is getting flooded.
