Re: worried, facewash question
My OB said there were *no* products I could not continue to use as far as facial cleansers and acne products go, and all of mine have salicylic acid in them. I asked specifically because I read otherwise on here many times.
Ask your OB what he/she wants for you since it's important you follow your doctor's rules, not everyone else's. If you don't have an appointment soon, give the nurse a call.
Oh, and don't worry.

Re: worried, facewash question
I cancelled my Proactiv bc the Dr told me that I couldn't use it bc of the benzoyl peroxide... My skin is getting yucky.

No. See my above post. Talk to your OB because every doctor will give you a different answer and all that matters is what YOURS says.

omg me too!! I never asked my doctor about it, but from what I read it didn't sound like it was worth the risk. My face has been breaking out BAD ever since I stopped using it. Ick. Oh well.. worth the sacrifice, ya know?

Re: worried, facewash question
Mine did not want me to use anything with salyctic acid in it ( a certain percentage which I can't recall)..Your best bet is to check with your OB

Re: worried, facewash question
Every doctor is different so you might want to ask.. however my dr. said I am fine with whatever face cleanser I use bc it is really on your face for 15 seconds then washed off. He said it is the creams you have to watch out for since that has time to sink into your pores.

Not too sure as I had specifically asked about saliyctic acid...I would look at the the active ingredient in the wash you are using and maybe give a quick call to your OB's office ( I'm sure the nurses could even answer for you )
