Would this kinda upset you alittle ????
so i am an avid Gymboree er and today when i was there the level 1 class was finishing up and there were 3 moms changing their babies right there on the mats 
not in the restroom where there is a beautiful change station with wipes and neccessities but on the play mats with the teacher standing right there .
this isnt the first time i have noticed this teacher allowing this to happen either.
do you think i should call the head office and say something ??? i mean my child someone elses child could get very sick from this and to be honest i find this unacceptable in a childs play area what are your opionions ???

Gross question, but pee or poop?
Poop diapers would gross me out (especially when you say there is a changing station in the bathroom), but a quick change of a pee diaper wouldn't bother me in the least.
ETA: With something UNDER the butt like a pad....

I would absolutely call! This is why I hesitate joining these things, b/c of the germs factor, but at the same token I want my DD to participate in activities with other children too.
Def call and dont feel bad about it either.

I would say something, why should your kid or anyone elses in the class walk or crawl on something like pee or poop that was left behind, very unsanitary!!

I would say something since it was on the mats during playtime. I was guilty of changing DD at the GTG on the carpet with her changing pad though  I was skeeved out going into a public restroom without shoes, which I ended up having to do anyway at the end!
ETA: she only went pee

ah you have to go into the restroom in your socks ok thanks for the update, I will carry a new pair of those real thin cheap slippers and put that in her diaper bag so I can wear those to change her and throw them out when I leave.

i dont know i was waiting to enter for my level 2 class .
but that really shouldnt matter the moms should be respectful of the other children that play there .
sooo gross
they are so very follow the rules too like oh we clean all the toys after every class and no shoes allowed so why the he$l can you change your baby on the mats and not the restroom

It takes all different kinds of Mommies (or Mummies if you will) to make things work, to learn things and to experience things. There isn't anything wrong with being more bothered about things than others are...everyone is different!

I think it's kind of gross, although, I have done it in the past, with a matt and only pee....
My thoughts are if you are venturing out to a place where there are kids... anything goes...
I wouldnt call, but that's just me.

Honestly, public bathrooms freak me out, so quite often I'll change Alex in another room, as long as I use a mat, and it's only a pee diaper. A poopy dieaper I'll usually just change in the car.

I honestly wouldn't care that much. It's weird, but I get more concerned about my DD's privacy when I change her then germs...I don't like showing the world her privates...

That's gross!!! Are you sure the bathrooms were clean? Maybe that's why they did it. Did they use a mat?
