Beditmes can be broken for a party, I would go, but I wouldn't expect my DD to behave to be honest, she will probably be tired by that time lol

Re: WOuld you bring your child to a 6:30PM birthday party?
I would prefer a morning party, but yes, I would still go. One night isn't going to ruin them and it gives my wine more time to chill ;)
Really, what I don't like are parties in the middle of a day on the weekends, throws the whole day off.

My ds is 19 months now and I would take him to a night party even now. I just had a wedding rehearsal and ds was up til midnight. He was fine. His normal bedtime is 830 so he was way past it. His sleep schedule was not even thrown off.
I would just book what works for you. You can't please everyone and the people that are close to your family will be there no matter what time.

Yes, but my kids go to bed late anyway.

I would take my 3 year old but, be ready to leave when he got unreasonable and cranky (although he goes to bed early, he's happier and more accomodating earlier in the day).

Of course. Birthdays, holidays and other special occasions, there are no rules or schedules.

Late morning/early afternoon party is much more preferred IMO. I think people want to get the kiddie birthday party over and done with in the daytime. It leaves the evening for family time, relaxation, going out, or whatever.

Yes I would go. But, at a 6:30pm party at Pump it Up, I believe they are eating at like 8pm right? That is too late to eat IMO.

Re: WOuld you bring your child to a 6:30PM birthday party?
I'm new to the baby birthday party scene but what I've witnessed is that kids start melting down towards the end. Add tired kids to that assuming a lot go to bed 7:30-9 ish and I wouldn't have a party then. I'd still bring my kids but I might leave early to get them in bed. Not a bedtime stickler but they are beastly if they don't go to bed by 8.
