Would you buy a city Mini Double stroller with an almost 4 year old?

I have an almost 4 year old and a 4month old. I've been either letting older DD walk or use the sit and stand. This can be a pain in the butt while shopping as DD likes to walk around the store and try to get out of the sit and stand,...lol

I know the city mini can go up to 55 lbs.

do you think itt's worth it to buy a double at this age?

Anyone have their 4 year old or older in this stroller?

If you're going to use it once in a while only for shopping, I would look into a cheaper double stroller but if it's a stroller you will use all the time when u take both kids out then sure go for it. I see older kids in strollers all the time.

We did and so glad! I was told we wouldnt get much use out of it, but we use it almost every night for walks around the neighborhood, and on two trips to Disney. Def got my $ out of it and glad we went with it because my 4 year old is very comfortable in it

I wouldn't. My ds is soo active though.

But I think if ur thinking u need a double, go for a less expensive double to have if u need it (places like Disney and such) and get/use a nice stroller, like the city mini fr ur 4 month old.

OR if you think ur going to have more kids in the next 2-3 years, go for the double and u can use it for e next baby

I wouldn't ds is almost 3 1/2 - he walks around. Last weekend was just at a street fair and the double strollers I saw took up so much room in a crowded area, I couldn't even imagine taking it in a store shopping.

Yes, we use it out shopping, long walks , and on vacations

I wouldn't. My DD was just over two when her sister was born. I have the city micro double and a lightweight Joovy sit and stand. I've used the double maybe a dozen times in the last two years and that's because I felt it was a waste not to use it. We really never use it now. I do love my other stroller though.
