Re: would you go to a concert 9 months pregnant?
I would go. I went to Donna Summer with my friends when I was 8.5 months pregnant and had a blast!
ETA: It was at Jones Beach so it was outside (no smoke)

Re: would you go to a concert 9 months pregnant?
I would go! Just be prepared that you might have to leave early- only if it is smoky or if you are uncomfortable for any reason.
Most likely it will be just fine!

Re: would you go to a concert 9 months pregnant?
I went to see The Editors and Franz Ferdinand about 3 weeks before my due date. It was absolutely fine...no problems at all. I enjoyed it and had a little dance. It was at a big arena and I just held onto my friend while I was walking up the stairs.
Go, you are pregnant, not disabled.

Oh man,,,,,Can't I get preferential treatment or special seating
I would have my DH with me....he'll protect me for sure.
I think I might go for it, or ask around if anyone would want the tixs if I go into labor early.

Re: would you go to a concert 9 months pregnant?
I would buy the tickets if the venue wasn't too far from my hospital. 8 days is close, but what if you're feeling fine?! You can always decide the day of if you don't want to go.

I think if I was to guess, it's less than 20 miles from the hospital.
Oh the choices

Think about what the odds are of actually giving birth on your actual due date....just buy the tickets and plan on going! I order you to do it. GO! Now! Run!

Re: would you go to a concert 9 months pregnant?
I would think Bon Jovi tickets are pretty easy to get rid of if you're not up for it.
Personally - I was induced at 37.5 weeks, so I didn't even make it to 8 days before. I was very uncomfortable by the 9th month and would not have gone.

I totally agree w/ Racheeeee. Just go! If you don't deliver early you'll be disappointed you missed the show, if you do, you'll have something better! Now I want to go back & scalp some FooFighters tix.

Re: would you go to a concert 9 months pregnant?
I know my friend didn't want to do anything during her 9th month. She had to pee every 30 min or so and was so uncomfortable. Standing all night might be a PITA too! If the tix are cheap and you are a big fan you def should go but personally I don't think I would even see Billy Joel (my fav) in month 9, even if they were free tix...well, second thought...enjoy yourself!! Eveyone is different so maybe it would be a nice night out

Or you can just give birth at Greensboro Women's hospital! (is it still there?). That's where I gave birth to DS at and it was great!!
Personally I wouldn't go unless the bathroom was right next to my seat

Re: would you go to a concert 9 months pregnant?
If you want the truth from someone who has seen Bon Jovi more times than I can count, the concerts do not vary much from tour to tour. So if you have seen them before, you will not miss much with the exception of the new songs. I have been seeing their shows for the past 20 years and twice as often as usual in the past 10 years because a close friend of mine worked for him.
Personally, I would be too frightened to go, but thats just me.

I went to see the Christmas tree in the city 7 days before my EDD. I had a ball. I even had the dr's permission. And no one got in the way of my bump!!!
