i used mine...also found out i hated the brand of diapers they used!!!! never have to make the mistake and buy them though lol

I would not make them if I thought people would not use them. They turn out to be expensive to make! I purposely do not use pins or anything that the person might not notice before using them.

I did! The diapers aren't opened up so the inside of them that touches the baby is clean and untouched.
Exactly.
Just make sure there are no straight pins used to make the cake. My SIL held some items to mine with large straight pins but made sure to tell me how many pins.

I used them on my son! They were tied up, not glued or anything. It is a complete waste if you don't use them. They are just going to be peed and pooped on.

I made one for my sister.. I only took them out of the package, rubber banded them (with new clear hair bands) and then put it together... I made sure I didn't glue them or anything just so she could use them.

My baby shower had diaper cake centerpieces and I used them all...I was so glad when they were finished because I HATED those diapers!

My cousins made me one and my mom made another too! USED THEM ALL!!! That gave us a few weeks worth, so many Newborns and into the 1's size

oh yeah i used them. diapers aren't cheap and there are many in that cake! i think the person who makes it expects them to be used!

I would have but the cake that was given to me was very cheaply made. there was glue every where & when i tried to take it apart, the diapers ripped. It basically a waste & I was upset because I expected to be able to use those diapers. I couldn't even salvage one diaper from that cake. The person who gave it to me bought it, they did not make it.
