Wow - they have NEVER closed, and said they never would unless it was a state of emergency.
Yet mine is open!!! 
You are in Suffolk, right? They are talking about a State of Emergency right now...
Really?  My daycare will close for a SOE....
I just got off the phone with my supervisor. He is shocked that the agency is opening at 10. He is going to try and call the director (I just got off the phone with her husband, who also runs the agency)
The reason they want to be open is because they still think parents will come on for therapy and evaluations! Who would drive their kids out today for that???
Anyway, I am waiting to hear back. They said they will update in an hour. We shall see.

Before 6, Abby's day care had a two hour delay though it does follow the DOE so who knows now. I couldn't have gone into work anyway because I wouldnt have been able to get there until at least 2-3 hours after my school opened. Then Id have to turn back to get Abby because I am sure they would have closed early.
They changed it just after six, I assume shortly after the DOE announcement, that it's closed.
