wrong gender stories.....

i read another board and so many moms post stories about being told the wrong gender (usually told girl and then it's a boy). what are your thoughts on this??? is it as common as it seems? hardly anyone on here has been told the wrong gender (i think there are 2 i can think of)

has anyone been told the wrong gender? or know of someone recently??

My neighbor was told at her level 2 and when she went for a sono later in her pregnancy on was told , after her very girly shower.

But I think its soo rare

I would think it is more common when people find out before their level II. I know someone who found out at 16 weeks that she was having a boy. she told everyone, later at her 20 week she found out it was a girl. she had a girl

my sisters having twins-when her dr did a sono he said both girls but when she went to her level II there was a boy and a girl.
my baby always had the cord between the legs so my dr at first was leaning more towards boy but when we went to sono they said girl we waited until the follow up to level II to confirm girl before registering.

I am crashing, BUT they told my mom that her 5th child was a when in fact it was a Good thing everything she bought was gender neutral as she never wanted to know the sex and the tech told her accidentally.
