WWYD--- RE: Birthday Party and Due Date

So I am due for baby #2 exactly one week before DD's birthday. I am thinking that I should do her birthday super early this year? Maybe even like a month and a half before? Do you think that would be okay? She will be 3 and its not like she would know. Then I figured on her real birthday I'll just have cake with immediate family? What do you all think?

I think you should do it before like you planned

My Ds#2 was born a month before DS #2 2nd bday party and it was a lot to handle

I would do it earlier. I wouldnt want to take that risk and being that you were like me with our 1st....we both went early!



Even G's 1st bday I did it 2 wks later due to not finding a place around her bday.

She will never know the difference.

Do it nice and early. My friend is scheduled for a csection a week after her DD's 1st bday. She's having the bday party almost 2 months earlier, so she doesn't put herself under too much pressure.

I'm due ON my son's 3rd birthday. I will most likely have a scheduled C/S. I plan on asking them to do it the friday AFTER my due date and having ds's party the weekend before. We cant do it too early because there are other events in the family happening.

My DD's birthday is 10/31 and my DS was a scheduled c/s on 10/12. I actually did it after. I did my DD's party on 11/4/09. I figured she could use the extra attention after her brother came along but it was only family and about 20 people.
