WWYD - Swelling in leg related
9 years ago I had a very bad accident. I fell 17 feet off a scaffolding and broke my left heel and ankle and shattered my right heel and ankle. I have had my right heel rebuilt 3 times. Screws, pins, fusions, tendon repairs, etc
My foot is ALWAYS swollen because of the damage that has been done. I went to my orthopedist 2 weeks ago and he didnt like the swelling, so he sent me to get a doppler to rule out a blood clot. Luckily, I did not have one
Today my whole ankle and calf are swollen almost up to my knee! I have myf oot up on a chair at work, but it keeps falling asleep. The 2 times I got up to pee, my upper legs were all shaky and it took me a second to get my balance.
I know this is a stupid question, but should I call the doc? I know I have bad swelling because of my injury, but it seems to be creeping up. My OB/Gyn knows my history with my injury, but I feel like the swelling is getting worse. Seamus Finn is flipping and kicking around like crazy so I know he is ok

I'm sorry to hear what you have been through. I would call if it's going to make you feel better. There is nothing wrong with calling your doctor, they get paid to care for you.
Hope you feel better soon

wow.
I think you should def call your doc if the swelling that you are experiencing is not the normal swelling you have

OMG! What an ordeal you survived!! I would definitely call your doc and give her/him the heads up. The doc may tell you to go home and lay down or just to keep it elevated at work. You're almost at the end so hopefully there won't be that many more scary instances like this. Please keep us updated!!
