WWYD? (gift related)
Hi everyone! So my Supervisor's wife recently had a baby. While he was out on leave I thought it would be nice to send a gift. He has been back now over a week and has not said anything to me about it 
No thank you, nothing. And this is not uncommon for him...he is missing that part of the brain that stops one from being rude. 
So I don't know if he received it and forgot to say something or maybe he never received it (i did mail it).
So I don't know if I should ask him if they ever got it? I don't want to make him feel uncomfortable about it if he did and forgot to acknowledge it.

Since this guy normally wouldn't say thank you anyway, I would just let it go and presume they recieved the gift. I bet the wife/new mom will send out thank yous in a few weeks when they get into a routine of sorts.

I think I would ask... Just say "I just wanted to make sure you got the gift I sent".. Its just rude not to say thank you and acknowledge it. I sent someone a wedding present once bc I couldnt go to their wedding and they never called or sent a thank you. I finally called and ask if they at least got it bc otherwise It got lost and I wanted to get to the bottom of it... 3 days later there was a thank you card in my mailbox. Some people just dont get it
