WWYD? Got a smiley and can finally TTC!!
Hi Ladies!
I am officially back on thsi board after a year of 2 miscarriages and an ectopic pregnancy. I just had uterine surgery three weeks ago today to fix a septum and remove a polyp... It's been a long road, but I am so thankful that I can get back on the road of TTC again... I just saw the RE this past Monday and was told that I could start trying this month if I wanted to. She recommended I use the OPK, but the only problem is that since I was on Anti-biotics from the surgery, I developed bacteria vaginosis and am on cream for five days to get rid of it. Today is day 4 and I got a smiley face this morning and of course I am not done with the medication yet. It's just a cream I am inserting 2x a day (day and night)... I am so bummed... I really want to try but I am not sure if I should?
The DR didn't mention anything about waiting to be done with the cream to start TTC, but since I've been through so much, I am afraid something bad might happen? Maybe I am just nervous...
Any advice? WWYD? Thanks and good luck to alL!!

If you got your first smily face this morning (and you didnt get one yesterday) that means your "goping to ovulate within the next 24-36 hours" If I were you, I would have fun with your DH when he gets home from work...THEN use your cream a few hours later (or not at all)... BV antibiotics stay in your vagina and are absorbed...sperm swim up through your cervix and into your uterus...Id call your RE and see what they say...Im sure they can tell you what the best plan of action is...but thats probably what I would do in this situation.
