wwyd? ten month old at a baseball game???

ok im curious what you guys think about taking a ten month old to a baseball game? reasons? thanks....im trying to decide whether or not to take my dd.

I would def go But I am also bringing my 4 month old to the Circus on Friday I bring them everywhere

I wouldn't. I would want to go and get away for a couple of hours and spend some alone time with my DH and if I had other kids give them some alone time with Mommy and Daddy because we know babies take up so much of our time,

i brought my ds to a day met game when he was 2 1/2 months old!

DD went at 3 months and again at 11 months.

I always took my children to events with me. and it was never a problem..

Honestly - no. If it was a day game in the middle of the afternoon and the seats are in full exposed sun, I, personally, would not take her. I can barely stand the sun and heat, I wouldn't want to expose a baby to that for the entirety of a ball game.

Is it to a Mets or Yankees game? I haven't been to the new Yankee stadium but I think it would be okay at CitiField.

The concession level is very open and has tons of space to bring a small umbrella stroller and walk her around if she needs to nap or gets fussy.

I would also bring a bjorn or some kind of carrier. And of course, lots and lots of sunscreen, some small toys and snacks.

I would bring her! I just brought my 6 month old to a local minor league game and he did great!

bring her! i took DS to a yankee game (which got rained out ) when he was 8 months old, he had a great time, loved looking around at everything, and fell asleep in my arms which he never does!

Take her! DS went to his first baseball game at 3 months and really hasnt missed many games since...

At 10 months, I probably would have brought DS. He wasn't walking yet, and I think he would have sat still long enough to look around and enjoy himself.

Now at 18 months, it's all about motion. He could not sit still. I cannot imagine bringing him to a game and entertaining him enough to keep him happy, just not worth it since DH or I would miss good chunks of the game.

We did!!! We all went to a game when the twins were around 7-8 months.

We are going to a game in June and DS will be 11 months but we are not taking him
Mostly bc its a night game and it starts around his bedtime so he would be cranky the whole time.

Plus we have my late uncles seats from his season tickets - 10 rows from the field in the seats with waitress service, etc and we wanted to have an adult night and just sit back and enjoy the game

We are taking him to a Ducks game in a few weeks. Its only 10 minutes from the house, an open and smaller field, etc so it will be easier to take him to those before we test out the bigger stadiums. DH's side of the family are HUGE mets games, so he will be going to plenty of games when he is older!!

I took DD at 6 months and she loved it. Just be prepared that you may not be able to stay for the whole game and your enjoyment level will be much different.
