WWYD? Travel - 8 weeks old
My whole family is going away to Colorado in April for my dad's big birthday. My DD will be 8 weeks old (she is 9 days old right now). Throughout my pregnancy, I figured that we just wouldn't be able to go. We mentioned it to our pediatrician yesterday and she seemed to have no concerns with us going. My concerns include... 1. Germs on the plane 2. Overwhelmed with the idea of taking her at such a young age 3. Pumping/BFing while away 4. Taking her to the high altitude where the air is thinner (Colorado mountains) 5. Etc etc ... All the other first time mom worries
Have any of you traveled with your DC at such a young age? If so... How did it go? Would you do it again? Any tips?
If you haven't... Wwyd??

i have not, but given the chance i would have.
you need to feel comfortable..
i know plenty of parent who have traveled with children that young.
my first time on a plane i was 4.5 months old.. yes i was a little older, i traveled from vietnam to NYC.
if your comfortable with it, go for it.

I have not traveled with DD when she was that young but I agree that it is what you feel comfortable with. Good Luck

I travelled with DS between nine and ten weeks and it wen t well. It's a lot easier to fly with them before they become mobile.
