WWYD...babysitting a sick baby?
My BFF asked me to watch her 3 kids a few days this week. I was there yesterday with Rylan(27m) and Xavier(5m). The baby who just recently turned 1 had a horrible runny nose...yellow and green. By the time I left her eye was running pretty bad too. Late last night my friend called me to say she had a 102 fever so she took her to PM peds and it turned out she has a bad ear infection that is draining into her eye. They also told her she is fine to be around other children after the fever is gone 24hrs so i'm thinking she'll ask me to come again tomorrow. My kids have never had an ear infection before so this is foreign to me.
I'm not really worried about Rylan as much as I am Xavier. Would you still babysit tomorrow?

Re: WWYD...babysitting a sick baby?
I watch my god daughter five days a week and have a very strict rule "NO FEVERS". But that is my policy. If doc said 24 hours I would follow that

Yes although you should be prepared that you may have a super clingy child & hope there is no secondary infections.
We've had ear infections that have spread to the eyes. It's pretty bad but 24 hour on the antibiotic, they were significantly better.
