WWYD....Sleep-related question
DS has been napping and sleeping in his swing (swaddled for both naps and bedtime). The past 2 nights he has slept at least 7 hours straight but in the swing. Do you think i should just do what he likes so he gets the sleep he needs and try and break him of the swing when he is old enough to CIO?
Part of me wants my DH to put him in the crib for that long stretch of sleep that he has to see if DS is, indeed more comfy in the swing, but DH doesnt want to because he knows that he will sleep better in the swing and he doesnt have really deal with him (we take shifts if you guys are wondering why DH puts him to bed).
WWYD???

Re: WWYD....Sleep-related question
DD slept during the day in it and at around 5 months, she told me she had it with the swing as she would scream and it was difficult to get her to nap in it..i then put her in the crib, we had one or two bad naps and boom, she sleeps in the crib fine... I didnt do it at night only because i didnt want her to..how old is DC?

Re: WWYD....Sleep-related question
I'd keep him in the swing, I mean, its only been two nights (not to jinx you) but let it work for a while and then switch it up

Re: WWYD....Sleep-related question
I remember reading a ton of moms on here who had their babies sleep in the swings overnight. I would do it right now. It seems as if you are hardly getting any sleep so I would take advantage of what works. I would try to revisit the crib (or bassinet) by 3 months and take it from there. Don't let it go too long because then you will probably just create really bad sleep habits, and it will just be another thing to overcome!

Re: WWYD....Sleep-related question
My son slept in his bouncy seat for 5 months-he got too big fo rit so we put him in his crib and he did fine. The first night it took him a long time to go to sleep but most nights he's asleep in 20 minutes
