When I had DS, I started out sharing a room. The woman showed her birthing video over and over and over again to her hordes of visitors and had little kids visiting that insisted on opening my curtains and peeping at me attempting to breastfeed. By the end of the day, I was practically begging for a private room and when I was moved to one, it was TOTALLY worth the extra $$$. I automatically signed up for one with DD. I believe it was $200/night.

I delivered in White Plains and all of the rooms are private- but they're tiny. I paid $200 a night for a private suite. It was huge and was able to accomodate all of our friends and family. I will do it again next time too.
